Sweden Talks: Rethinking Plastic Recycling

Plastic is an amazing innovation with countless numbers of applications. But it comes at a high prize. Around 60% of the plastic we surround ourselves with ends up in the natural environment, and stays there for hundreds of years. Many of us are aware of the benefits of recycling, but what happens to the plastics once recycled? With us for this Sweden Talk is Hanna Paradis from Johanneberg Science Park who will provide us with an insight into the world of plastic recycling, its challenges and possibilties.

Hanna Paradis is the leader of Climate leading Process Industry, a Swedish innovation initiative and forum for cooperation to reduce the climate footprint of chemical industries in Sweden. Hanna has more than 15 years of experience in working with sustainability and innovation within Swedish industries, working with a wide range of areas such as energy, fuels, materials and recycling.
