Rwanda: Planting of Grafted Trees

This activity is organised by SI Alumni Network Rwanda and is open to all.

The event is about helping citizens from shingiro sector with low income to help them to plant fruit tree that will help reduce malnutrition in children that are in the families with low income that cannot afford to buy fruits as well as contributing to the good health and wellbeing of the people as far as SDGS are concerned. As the trees are planted they will help the citizens in the city to breath fresh air as far as contributing to the climate change.

Programme
7am to 9 am: takeoff from Kigali to Musanze
9:00 to 9:30 am : Coffee break
9:30am to 9: 45 am: welcoming the guests and opening remarks of the event by Alumni chairperson
9:45 to 1:00 pm : Planting of trees
1:00 to 1:15 : Speech from the representative of the beneficiaries
1:15 pm to 2:15 pm: Lunch break
2:15 to 2:30 pm : Speech by one of the local authorities
2:30 to 2:45: speech of the guest of honor and closing remarks
2:45 to 3:10 : Photo session
