This event is organised by the Sweden Alumni Network Colombia and is open to alumni of all Swedish universities.
We will discuss topics related to sustainability of coffee crops of a 100% organic, from the beans to the cup: cultivation, processing, packing, transport and exporting. Likewise, how coffee production affects workers, the community, the environment and the climate in a positive or negative way. The cupping exercise will allow the participants to recognize a quality coffee for their consumption and make better decisions when buying a coffee either in the supermarket or in a specialized coffee shop. Consuming local products, and knowing local suppliers such as women’s coffee networks is also one of the objectives of this discussion.
